Using the tools

This site provides free browser-based audio generators for testing, education, music, and casual listening. You may use every tool for personal or professional purposes, share links to any page, and keep WAV files you render for your own projects.

You agree not to misuse the service: do not attempt to disrupt the site, misrepresent screening-level tones as calibrated measurements, or use loud or sustained playback in ways that endanger people or animals nearby. Safe volume defaults exist for a reason — overriding them is your responsibility.

Intellectual property

The site design, explanatory copy, and software are owned by the operator and protected by applicable law. You may quote brief excerpts with attribution, but you may not republish whole pages, clone the site, or present its content as your own.

WAV files you generate encode the tones you configured and are yours to keep and reuse freely, including in commercial work.

No warranties and limited liability

The tools are provided as is, without warranties of any kind — including accuracy for professional calibration, fitness for medical purposes, or uninterrupted availability. Browsers, devices, and audio hardware differ, so output always varies by setup.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss, damage, or hearing-related claim arising from use of the site. Your use of test tones at any volume is entirely at your own risk, as the disclaimer explains in detail.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as the site grows; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions about these terms are welcome through the contact page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use generated tones in my own projects?
